Jack Dean Merrill Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jack Dean Merrill of Thomasville, North Carolina, who passed away on January 31, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary "Pearl" Hughes Merrill and Willard Artis Merrill; and his siblings, Edith, Iris, Wilma, Cleo, Virgil, James and Paul.
He is survived by: his sons, Jack Dean Merrill, Jr. and Willard Craig Merrill. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, and honorary children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Wallburg Baptist Church (5341 Wallburg Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27107).
In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be directed to Hospice or the Veterans Charity.
