He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Johnston, Sr. and Callie Ann Roseberry Johnston; and his grandson Zachary Michael Horne. He is survived by: his wife Katherine Gilman; his children, April Carter (Scott) of Thomasville, Jack Johnston, III of Thomasville and Michael E. Horne (Robin) of Thomasville; his sister Mary Lee Everhart of Thomasville; his grandchildren, Katlin Moose (Jeremy), Lillie Carter (Jeffery Stanley), Callie Carter and Riley Horne; and his great grandchild Lennox.
