He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Frank James Williams and Dorothy Denton Williams; his wife Christine Carver Williams; his sons, Jeff Williams (Ann) of Leicester and Dwight David Williams (Misook) of Hong Kong; his grandchildren, Lexia Williams, Shannon Williams, Drew Merten, Dylan Williams and Dakota Williams; his great grandchild Liam Merten; and his siblings, Helen Knighten of Buncombe County, Kay Jones (Clyde) of Buncombe County, Marsha Honeycutt of Buncombe County and Leon Williams (Nancy) of Buncombe County.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Baptist Children's Home of NC, 204 Idol Street, Thomasville, NC 27360.
