She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Efird Sechriest and Verdie Maye Beck Sechriest; her husband Clyde Dana McLain; and her siblings, Rev. Lloyd Sechriest, Dale Sechriest and Carolyn Carpenter.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda McLain of Shelby, NC, Clyde D. McLain, Jr. (Lynn) of Mocksville, NC and Michael McLain (Robin) of Thomasville; her grandchildren, Jennifer McLain of Birmingham, AL, Dana McLain Moore (Brian) of Rural Hall, NC and Michael McLain, Jr. of Thomasville; and her great grandchildren, Caroline and Noah Moore. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
