She is survived by: her children, Linda Dennis of Burgaw, NC, Fae Flannery of Thomasville, Jimmy Simmons of Thomasville and Glinda Mae Simmons of Thomasville; her stepdaughter Virginia Simmons Hardee of Thomasville; her sister Genevieve Johnson Hodge of Loris, SC; and her grandchildren, Jerry, Sharon, Pamela, Brian, Teresa, Donna Jean, Carol, Justin, Angela, Delores, David, Tony, Wayne, Jason, Wanda, Stephanie, Michael Beal, Joanna, Jammie, William, Michael Simmons, Edward, Cathy, Mindy, Alvin, Ashley, Billy and Steven.
Due to the COVID mandates, the family requests that masks be worn during services.
