With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hoyt Watts of Thomasville, North Carolina, born in Columbus, North Carolina, who passed away on June 4, 2022 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cordis Odell Watts and Eva Bell Watts; his wife Carol Geraldine Walser Watts; his son Jamie Hoyt Watts; his siblings, Hubert Watts, Frank Watts, Myrtie Blanton, Mary Lou Bullard, Elizabeth Tyler and Gladys Graham; and his grandson Bradley Ryan Greene.
He is survived by: his children, Tony Watts (Sandi) of Thomasville, Chris Watts (Leslie) of Thomasville, Angel Sims (Kim) of Thomasville and Sonya Bingham (Jack) of Thomasville; and his siblings, Grady Watts (Pauline) of Loris, SC, Homer Watts (Linda) of Thomasville, Essie Nealey of Tabor City, NC and Princess Olshinski of Thomasville. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
