With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hilda Jean Fields of Thomasville, North Carolina, who passed away on February 10, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Hilda Jean shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Hilda Jean farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Vernon Leonard and Ethel Lucille King Leonard; her husband James Fields Sr.; and her sister Silvia Diane Trexler. She is survived by: her children, Annette Carroll, Tina Byerly (Ricky James), Jamie Everhart and James Fields Jr.. She is also survived by five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Davidson Funeral Home (301 N Main St, Davidson, NC 28036). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel (301 N Main St, Lexington, NC 27292).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292.
