It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gracie Wimmer of Thomasville, North Carolina, who passed away on March 26, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Martha Johnston; her husband James Marvin Wimmer; and her grandson Christopher Michael. She is survived by: her children, Richard Arnold, Douglas Wimmer (Bonnie) of Myakka City, FL, Sheila Meadows (Jimmy) of Princeton, WV, Stanley Wimmer of Lexington, NC and Martha Wimmer; her grandchildren, Emmanuel, Tanda, Tiffany, Jamie, Bianca, Malcolm, Amber, Thomas, Harley, Chasity and Lexi; her sisters, Myrtle Pannell of Plant City, FL and Mildred Beasley of Jacksonville, FL; and her adoptive children, Dougie Meadows and Angie Springs. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; her four legged best friends.
