It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Glenn Lee Compton Sr. of Thomasville, North Carolina, who passed away on January 23, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Edgar Compton and Vera Troutman Compton; and his siblings, Edgar Loren Compton and Marjorie C. Gibbs. He is survived by: his wife Faye Kennedy Compton; his sons, Glenn "Lee" Compton, Jr. of Thomasville and Arthur "Art" Compton of Banner Elk; and his sister Dr. Joyce Compton Brown (Les Brown) of Troutman. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
