He is survived by: his former wife Julie Hedrick of Lexington; his children, Elizabeth Lanning of Chapel Hill, Judy Wilson of Lexington, Joe Wilson of Texas, Jonathan Lanning (Jasmine) of Lexington, Jacob Lanning of Lexington and George Wilson, Jr. of Lexington; his siblings, Sondra Kay Frazier of Williamsbury, KY, Penny Wilson Mcfarland-Bunch of Williamsbury, KY, Nancy Wilson of Williamsbury, KY and James Ronald Frazier of Lenior, NC; and his father-in-law Boyd Lee Hedrick. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
