He is survived by: his wife Eva Carolyn Mahaffey Strickland; his children, Christopher Raymond Turner of Thomasville, Michael David Turner (Anita) of Thomasville, Victoria Lynn Turner Holland (Winston, Jr.) of Thomasville and Gidget Faye Jones (Brian) of Mebane; his brothers, Robert Strickland (Andrea) of Robeson County, Finley Strickland (Joann) of Thomasville and Ronnie Strickland of Robeson County; his grandchildren, Brett Alan Kennedy (Emily) of Trinity, Alex Cannon (Kerri) of Thomasville, Jordan Jones of Mebane, Elizabeth Victoria Smith of Thomasville, Alisha Hicks and Brandon Hicks of Thomasville; and his great grandchild Madelyn Elizabeth.
