He was predeceased by: his parents, C. J. Harris and Lula Yates Harris; his grandson Greg Harris; and his brothers, Wade and Bailey Harris.
He is survived by: his children, Beverly Kirtz of Conway, SC and Logan Harris (Connie) of Mt. Gilead, NC; his sisters, Barbara Harris of Lexington, NC and Maxine Harris Surratt (Charles) of Louisville, KY; his grandchildren, Josie Painter of Thomasville, Justin Lamp of Phoenix, AZ, Eric Cayce of St. Petersburg, FL and Katherine Lamp of Winston-Salem; and his great grandchildren, Carly and Kirsten.
Due to a positive COVID exposure, the funeral service will be rescheduled and announced at a later date at Fair Grove United Methodist Church with Rev. Tom Jolly and Jane Baity officiating.
