She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Franklin Everette and Vonnie Fouts Coman; her husband Joseph Howard Coker; her siblings, Bufort Coman, Russell Coman, Margaret Maurice Kinney of High Point and Velva Lee of Salisbury; her daughter Celeste Coker Payne; her grandson Lee "Coker" Payne of High Point; her sister Elizabeth Thornbrough; and her caregivers, Amelia Ashburn and Janet Helton. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews as well as brothers and sisters-in-law.
