She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur Edgar Barnhill, Sr. and Ruby Creech Barnhill; her husband A. L. "Pop" Stevenson; and her children, Louise Kinley, Mary Ellen Beckom, Charles and Ronnie Beckom.
She is survived by: her children, Jean Taylor of Thomasville, James Beckom of Thomasville and Larry Beckom (Shirley) of Thomasville; and her siblings, Elsie Brown of Leland, NC, Helen Barnhill of Leland, NC and Michael Barnhill of Lexington. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren.
