It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugene Marklan Whisnant (Thomasville, North Carolina), who passed away on September 25, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Claude Whisnant and Doris Faye Varner Whisnant; and his sisters, Mary Faye Whisnant and Karen Leigh Payne. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Jean Vestal; his daughter Sharon Brinkle; his grandchildren, Christopher Alan Whisnant, Donald Joseph Brinkle, III (Amber) and Amanda Rene Brinkle (Jason); his great grandchildren, Hailie Brinkle, Hannah Brinkle and Autumn Brinkle; and his brother James Whisnant (David).
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the funeral home and out of respect of the family, they request that masks be worn and observe social distancing due to COVID-19.
