He is survived by: his sons, Timothy Esaw Johnson (Christie) of High Point and Ronald Edward Johnson (Latisha) of Winston-Salem; and his siblings, Hazel Chestnut (James) of Thomasville and James Allen West (Sara) of Manning, SC. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
