He is survived by: his wife Jo Ann Jenkins Sparks; his children, Barry Sparks (Judy) of Wallburg, NC, Sonya Murdock (Wade Murdock), Amanda Arnold (Michael Arnold) of College Station, TX and Amy Molaro (Greg) of Lewisville, NC.; his grandchildren, Samantha Sparks, Tyler Coe of Alexandria, VA, Saunders Arnold, Zane Arnold of College Station, TX, Weston Murdock and Wyatt Murdock of Pinehurst, NC; his siblings, Bobby Sparks (Charlotte) of Thomasville, Virginia Freeman of Thomasville, Betty Teer of High Point and Jo Ann Hunt of Thomasville; and his sisters-in-law, Peggy Sparks of Thomasville and Nellie Hart of Thomasville.
