It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Baumgartner Jr. of Thomasville, North Carolina, who passed away on May 25, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Edward Francis, Sr.; his son Edward J. Baumgartner; and his sister Mary Lou Coppinger. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Hodges Baumgartner; and his children, Barry K. Lanier, Timothy M. Baumgartner, Kimberly Davis (Michael) and Kathleen Dail (Richard). He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, Wounded Warrior Project, or the suicide prevention charity of the donor's choice.
