She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Clarence Smith and Cleva Cecil Boles; her husband Robert "Bobby" Eugene Gales; and her siblings, Cecil Smith, Bob Smith, George Smith, Daisy Kuntz, Lib Russell and Mot Cooper.
She is survived by: her son Mitch Gales (Norma) of Thomasville; and her grandchildren, Emily Gales and Sierra Welch. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
