It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald William Koenig (Thomasville, North Carolina), born in Jamaica, New York, who passed away on August 31, 2019, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Koenig and Wilhelmina Scheiner Koenig; his son Donald Edward Koenig; and his brother Bernie Koenig. He is survived by: his wife Shirley McPherson; his sons, Jeffrey Koenig (Karen) of Liberty, Christopher Ryan Koenig (Amy) of Liberty, Kevin Bradley Koenig (Maria) of Coleridge and Francis Jerard Koenig (Jenny) of Virginia; his stepdaughter Wendy Michelle Geiger of Greensboro; his sister Marie Davidow of Connecticut; his grandchildren, Lauren, Jamey, Carson, Kiresten, Chase, Jackson, Raegan, Mackenzie, Cole, EvaMarie and Josie; and his great grandchildren, Brennen and Audrey.
