He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Grubb Pierce; his son Joel Pierce (Ani) of Thomasville; his siblings, Charles Pierce of Lexington and Louise Elberson of Thomasville; and his grandchildren, Justin Canady (Tara) of Charleston, SC, Sydni Pierce of Thomasville and Kirsten Pierce of Thomasville.
