He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Thomas and Doris Huntley; his brother Dwight Thomas; and his nephew Jacob Simmons. He is survived by: his daughter Ashley Thomas (Ryan Chaland) of Thomasville; his siblings, Jennifer Wolfe (Johnny) of Churchville, VA, Julie Thomas of Staunton, VA, Rodney Thomas (Linda) of Michigan and Rob Thomas of Orange; and his granddaughter Josephine Chaland.
