He is survived by: his wife Alisha Mitchell; his children, David Mitchell Jr., Shanece Mitchell and Azariah Mitchell; his siblings, Willie Mitchell (Mazzie), Charles Mitchell, Ray Mitchell, Kenneth Mitchell, Tyrone Mitchell (Tammie), Allen Mitchell (Gwendolyn), Jacqueline Oliver (Harold) and Patricia Williams (Jesse); his aunts, Viola Murry of Summerton, SC and Maxine Hampton of Summerton, SC; his mother-in-law Christine Ellison; and his brothers-in-law, Chris Green (Tara), James Green, Rodney Wilder (Amy), Dennis Wilder and Shaquille Ellison. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
