He was predeceased by: his parents, Roscoe Young and Martha McCarty Dunn; his daughter Lydia Young; and his siblings, Billy Young, Frank Young, Charles Greer, Nancy Halleman and Sophie Glass.
He is survived by: his close friend Sherry Barnes Rising; and his siblings, Bobby Young, Danny Glass, Donald Young, Patricia Brooks, Marcella Lemon, Freda Young and Gladys Dean. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
