He was predeceased by: his father Clifford Odell Sechrist; his wife Rosa Lee Lewis Sechrist; his siblings, Catherine Porter and Chalmous Sechrist; and his grandson Kevin Lewis.
He is survived by: his daughters, Marsha, Tia and Angie; and his brother Richard (Jackie). He is also survived by ten grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
