He was predeceased by: his parents, James Russell Hill and Mary Bernice Cashatt Hill; and his siblings, Lloyd Hill, Leon Hill, Gladys Hill Layton and Lydia Hill Furr.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Huff Hill of Thomasville; his children, Vickie Puckett (Alonza) of Columbia, MD and Rev. Barry L. Hill (Linda) of Kernersville; his siblings, Carson Hill (Nancy) of High Point, Alice Johnson (Bobby) of High Point, Frances Spainhour of Sophia and Carolyn Sue Hill of Sophia; his grandchildren, Donald, Travis Rickert and Kelly Kellum (Greg); and his great grandchild Tanner Kellum. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
