With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Clarence Gary Burns (Thomasville, North Carolina), who passed away on May 4, 2021 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Burns and Daisy Hayes Seagle; his grandparents, Calvin Hayes and Bessie Hayes; and his brother Ralph Burns.
He is survived by: his wife Naomi Duffey Burns; his daughters, Drenda Hunter (Randy) of Clayton, NC and Tammy Leggins (Clyde "Butch") of Connelly Springs; his sisters, Margie Gilbert of Granite Falls, Wanda Stewart of Hickory and Bonita Jolly of Granite Falls; his grandchildren, Taryn Gibson (James), Matt Hunter (Karen), Carrie Leggins and Madison Hunter; and his great grandchildren, Sophia Gibson and Levi Hunter.
The family requests anyone attending to please wear a mask due to Covid 19.
