She was predeceased by: her father Freeman Michael Smith; her husband James David Lunsford; her daughter Pamela Everhart; and her siblings, Olin J. Smith, Joe Sexton Smith and Shirley Tucker.
She is survived by: her daughter Tammy Todd of Thomasville; her brother Rex Smith of Stanley, NC; her grandchildren, Eric Everhart, Travis Todd and Halie Polk (family: Vonda Everhart); her children, Connor and Caroline; her caregiver Pansy Hunt; and her close friend Earl Latham. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren; longtime church daughter and her family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hilltop Baptist Church 160 Gate Road, Thomasville, NC 27360.
