It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Claiborn Curvis Black (Thomasville, North Carolina), who passed away on August 26, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Curvis Lee Black and Grace Lena Ward Black; his wife Evelyn Mae Saintsing Black; and his sister Vanetta Biddix. He is survived by: his sons, Roger Black of Thomasville and Steven Black; his grandchildren, Lauren Crowson Hindman (Chris) and Ren Crowson (Nikki); his sister Sarah Lambe; and his sisters-in-law, Frances Saintsing and Ruth Kennedy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
