She was predeceased by: her parents, John Powell and Pennie Powell; her husband Delmar Holbrook; and her children, Wayne Holbrook and Diane Holbrook.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Crystal Dupree (Mark), Brandi Knight (Herb) and Scott Holbrook; her great grandchild Makenzie Capps; and her close friend Paula Claudette Peters.
