She was predeceased by: her parents, Luman Johnson and Anna Johnson; and her son Stephen George. She is survived by: her brother Larry; her sister-in-law Rachel Johnson; her nephew Benjamin Johnson; her children, Jennifer Kinosh, Phillip George, Amy Garland and Anna Lineberry; and her grandchildren, Iian Scott-George, Elijah Triplette, Jasmine George, Brandon Miller, Jewel Sattenfield, Delilah Lineberry, Elizabeth Bowyer, Ashton Bowman, Samuel Bowman, Easton Griffen and Hazel Triplette.

She regularly performed as a villager in Memorial's annual "Star of Bethlehem" living nativity and volunteered at their "Empty Bowls" charity events.
