He was predeceased by: his parents, John Walter Sides and Sadie Elizabeth Jackson Sides; his wife Hazel Hedrick Sides; his brother Hiram Harold Sides; and his great grandchildren, Cooper Rolph and Riley Watson.
He is survived by: his children, Jack Sides (Edie) of Lexington, Lawrence Sides of Lexington and Teresa Ann Peterson (Jack) of Hubbardston, MI; his siblings, Frank Walter Sides of Lexington, Elizabeth Voss of Lexington and Mary Spainhour (Kelly) of Lexington; his grandchildren, Jennifer Dawn Sides, Timothy Sides (Jessica), Schyller Sides, Preston Sides and Bethany Sides; and his great grandchildren, Gunter Deweese, Jaxon Sides and Jocelynn Sides.
