He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Lee Welborn, Sr. and Ocia Hughes Welborn; and his siblings, Dewey Lee Welborn, Jr., Bobby Welborn and Doris Welborn Hayes.
He is survived by: his wife Shelbie Clodfelter Welborn; his daughters, Sandee Welborn Barker (John) and Jane Welborn Hicks; his grandsons, Matthew Barker (Kati) and Andrew Barker (Krystal); his great grandchildren, James and Jonas Barker; his brother Joe Grooms; and his pet Kitty. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
