It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Bennett Dickens of Thomasville, North Carolina, who passed away on March 25, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Clyde Eugene Dickens, Sr.; his wife Linda Kay Hunt Dickens; and his brothers, Roy Silas Dickens, Clyde Eugene Dickens, Clifford Neal Dickens and Carl Allen Dickens.
He is survived by: his son Christopher Burris (Jenean) of Thomasville; his grandson Bronson Boone Burris; his sisters, Doris Marie Boles, Carrie Baumhauer and Wanda Alexander; and his sister-in-law Judy Dickens. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
