She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Raymond Kennedy and Gurtrude Butler Kennedy; and her brothers, Robert, David Boles and Raymond Kennedy.
She is survived by: her husband Santana Britt; her son Michael Britt; her siblings, Sharon Pohlman (Richard) of High Point and John Kennedy (Linda) of Trinity; and her close friends, Randy, Sondra Beck, Stephanie, Michael Beaver, Alice Staley, Thelma Gay and Eric Poston. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the children's ministries of Ashland Street Baptist Church, 515 Ashland Street, Archdale, NC 27263.
