She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Edgar Mims and Leonora Taliaferro Abrams; her husband Cecil Pryor Allen; her siblings, Charles Mims and Peggy Mims Downey; and her daughter-in-law Jill M. Allen.
She is survived by: her sons, James "Michael" Allen of Babson Park, FL and Daniel Rhodes (Danielle Bouchard) of Greensboro; her nieces, Maxie Gray and Cindy Rhodes; and her sister Betty Mims Rhodes of Carrollton, GA..
