She was predeceased by: her parents, Neal Rose and Rhoda Rose; her daughter Terri Lynn Carter; and her siblings, Tebee Rose, Ivan Rose, Bessie Nester, Lawrence Rose, Everett Rose, Marcus Rose, Walter Rose, Edna Hall, Ruth Surber, Carson Rose, Jessie Rose and Junior Rose.
She is survived by: her husband Leonard Carter; her children, James "Butch" Carter (Ana) and Donna Hylton; her grandsons, Christopher and Joseph Hylton; her stepgrandchildren, Jeff Carpenter and Jessica Chavez; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Brandon, Jace, Cabe and Brooke; and her sister Billie Jean Tuggle.
