He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Cheshire and Alta Kennedy Summers; and his wife Joan Clackler Summers. He is survived by: his daughters, Stephanie S. Strickland (Kevin W.) of Thomasville and Stacy S. Hunt of Thomasville; his grandchildren, William Sean Wright, Jr., Summer Fayth Leitch (Devin), Derek Hunt, Hayden Strickland and Bailey Strickland; and his great grandchild Christian Strickland (C. J.).
