He is also survived by other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

“I was devastated to hear of the sudden passing of Carl Jr. My sincerest condolences to Linda, Cariel, Carl Sr. and the rest of the family. Linda and I became friends when she was stationed at the 2/319th Regiment at Fort Lee. I spent a lot of time with her and the family. I thank God for her and our prayer sessions.
