He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Winfield Burchette and Alma Walker Burchette. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Burchette; his children, Lona McKinney (Tyler) of Clemmons, Glenn Burchette (Tammy) of Winston-Salem, Marcie Batten of Thomasville and Candy Hazelwood of Thomasville; his grandchildren, Tyler McKinney, Jr. (Kara), LaRae McKinney (Andy), Alex, Amanda, Autumn Burchette, Cameron Nance (Brina) and Eli Hazelwood; and his great grandchildren, Mason, Kayse, Meadow and Aiden. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Hospice of Davidson County and Faith Baptist Church.
