He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Joseph Embry and Lenora Lord Embry; his wife Mollie Overcash Embry; and his siblings, Lee James Embry, Boley Thomas Embry, Jesse Miller, Roberta Parsons and Irene Lawson.
He is survived by: his children, Donald Ross Embry (Martha) and Kim Embry Payne (Clifton); his grandchildren, Barron Ross Embry (Beth), Brad Alexander Embry (Kimberly) and John Embry Payne; his great grandchildren, Baden Ross Embry (Hannah), Brinlee Addison Embry, Jase Alexander Embry, Colson Riley Embry and Hadley Mae Embry; his great great grandchild Lenora Rae Embry; his sister-in-law Willie Mae Stone (Bill); and his close friend Sara Plakakis.
