She was predeceased by: her parents, Napoleon A. Spell and Margaret T. Bailey Spell; her daughter Cassondra "Cassie" Creakman; and her sister Linda Kennedy. She is survived by: her husband Tilson; her children, Maggie Infield, Ean Payne, Brandon Payne and John Ellis; her sister Sandy Wagner; and her pets, Sully, Sam, Lucy, Ziggy and Merlin. She is also survived by grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family request that memorials be sent to Hospice of the Piedmont, 1801 Westchester Drive, High Point, NC 27262.
