She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Lester Bean and Julia Binkley Bean; her husband Ronald "Tubby" Smith; and her son Chad Smith. She is survived by: her daughter Julie Smith (Max) of Thomasville; her brother Phil Bean (Rita) of Greensboro; her granddaughter Cathryn; and her nieces, Lindsey Bradly and Meredith Carden (Phil). She is also survived by six great nieces and nephews; and many loving cousins.
