He was predeceased by: his parents, Dalton Hunt and Willie Younts Hunt; his sister Shirley Ann Atkins; his half-sister Peggy Edwards; his nephew Stevie Stanley; and his son-in-law Terry Simmons.
He is survived by: his wife Jeannine Evon Johnson Hunt; his children, Billy Hunt (Lisa), Scott Hunt (Tammy) and Tammy Simmons; his sister Judy Moorelock; his grandchildren, Will "Scooter" Hunt, Brandon Simmons (Lea), Christy Younts (Brandon), Courtney West (Carl) and Brittney Peterson (Alex); and his great grandchildren, Madisyn Younts, Peyton Younts, Kara Simmons, Kylee Simmons, Tristan Simmons, Dalton West, Carter West, Aaliyah West, Isabella Trent Skylar Trent and Ashley Crater.
