He was predeceased by: his parents, Grady Simpson and Pauline Lambeth Simpson. He is survived by: his daughter Michelle King (David) of Denton; his grandson Clint King (Brittany) of Denton; his brother Ricky Simpson (Cindy) of Lexington; his nieces, Elizabeth Owens (Nick) of Lexington and Paige Simpson of Lexington; and his great-nephew Mason Owens.
He was a member of Charity Baptist Church and is preceded in death by his parents.
