He was predeceased by: his father Troy Gales; his former wife Margaret Gales; his daughter Sandra Gales Lambeth; and his stepdaughter Ann LaPradd. He is survived by: his son Bobby Wayne Gales, Jr. (Ann R. Gales) of Thomasville; his sister Ellen Connors (Tom) of Fresno, California; and his grandchildren, Bobby W. Gales, III, Jason Lambeth, Brook Lambeth, Jessica Dawson, Mary Gales, Josh LaPradd, Jordon LaPradd, Tiffany LaPradd and Rodney LaPradd. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
