She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy Hathcock and Lucy Aldridge Hathcock; her husband Hubert McConnell; and her siblings, William Hathcock, Van Hathcock and Sarah James.
She is survived by: her daughter Carla McConnell (Randy) of Thomasville; her brothers, Bob Hathcock (Edith) of Florence, SC and Burl Hathcock of Norwood; and her grandson Paul Poplin (Lindsey) of New London.
