She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Mary Blake Poole and Lindsey Jones Poole; her husband Donald Duane Slate (Don); her children, Rodney Slate (Karen), William Slate (Jana) and Donna Labonte; her grandchildren, Nick Slate (Christy), Lindsey Broere (Neil), Brian Slate (Molly), Erin Slate, Alyssa Slate and Tyler Labonte (Bailey); her great grandchildren, Bradyn, Beckett Slate, Layla, Adelai, Judah, Asa Broere and McRae Slate; and her siblings, Lindsay, Fred, Bill, Jerry, Velma Poole Holt and Hilda Poole Kennedy.
