With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bernard Dunivant Jr. of Thomasville, North Carolina, who passed away on July 26, 2022 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Bernard Ray Dunivant, Sr.; his wife Vivian Cecelia Sopher; his siblings, Dennis Dunivant and Shirley Farrar; and his sons-in-law, Torra Waddell and Donald Roper.
He is survived by: his children, Vickie Stone (Tom) of Taylor, MI, Diana Waddell of Goldsboro, Sherry Roper of Lexington, Raymond Dunivant of Lexington, Dawn Dunivant of Lexington and Joseph Dunivant Sr. of Albemarle; and his siblings, Charlie Dunivant (Denise) of Glendale, AZ, Drema Cook (Richard) of Hockley, TX and Judy Hamel (Kerry) of Michigan. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
