He was predeceased by: his parents, C. "Sam" Coleman and Lillie "Marie" Hayes Fritts. He is survived by: his wife Janet Everhart Coleman; his daughter Jessica Coleman Poteat (Steven); his stepfather Amos Fritts; his sisters, Donna Grubb (Mike) and Sharon Mixon (Wesley); his grandson Wyatt Poteat; and his siblings-in-law, P. Alan Everhart and Eve Sink (Marty). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
